Jack Chick Documentary
Introduction:
Bookings of the Jack Chick Film are now available.
We are currently planning an East coast summer tour of the Jack Chick Film so please email ASAP if you are anywhere on the Eastern US.
We can bring digital screening gear with us if you don't have equipment.
Booking information language is intended for people who regularly program films.
If you don't normally run films we would still love to have you show our film, just read down to the "New to film booking" section and
learn the lingo and how we might be able to help you. We came from a film programing background and
have programed over 1,000 film screenings of hundreds of films in places from giant cinemas to tiny coffee shops.
We can figure out something that will work for you.
Pricing:
Non-Profit -For churches, non-profits or non-cinema bookings start at $50 vs. 40% for seating up to 100.
For seating over 100 the booking fee is $ .50 per seat (up to $100) vs. 40%
Standard theatrical - bookings are $150 vs. 40%.
*if you are a pub, coffee shop, tiny micro cinema etc. you fall into the non-profit category.
* The film makers will happily travel to host a film screening provided that you pay for us to get to your location, feed us and give us a place to sleep. We travel cheap!

**** New to film booking ******
It's OK to ask!
*For people new to film booking you should read the above rates as $xx.xx as the upfront minimum you would pay for screening rights. The 40% means that if you charge admission and if 40% of the admission revenue is greater than the upfront, that becomes your new rate. I.E. if you take in $1000.00 your booking fee would be 40% or $400.00. So if your upfront was $100 and you take in $1000.00 you would owe an additional $300.
*Yes! Even if you don't charge admission you need to pay a public performance fee.
It is against the law and more important it's how the film makers eat. (you do want them to eat don't you)
*Yes! If you are broke, but have a clever idea we will listen and work with you.
* If you have never run a film at your location here are a few things that you would need.
1) A digital projector
2) A standard DVD player
3) A PA system of some sort for the sound
4) A white or cream colored wall or a movie screen ( a big sheet works also)
- again we are happy to help you.
* Think creativitly! Film programing does not have to be a serious "Cinema" event. Pair foods, drinks etc. with the film (concessions are also
highly profitable). Use an outdoor wall and create a mini drive-in.
